The Prize for Illustration 2015


This collage, entitled 36 Craven Street, (the London lodgings of Benjamin Franklin) has been selected along with 99 other entries from around the world, to be shown at the London Transport Museum in a special exhibition, London Places and Spaces, organised by the museum and the Association of Illustrators, which will run from May through to September 9 2015.

Writers' Houses - the calendar!

American publishing house Andrews McMeel has signed up Amanda White to produce a calendar of her Writers' Houses for a 2016 wall calendar in their Universe calendar range.
Twelve full colour, full page reproductions of her most popular houses, with individual descriptive texts by the artist.



Out in September/October 2015.

to Steventon Church, Christmas Morning was awarded top prize 
and a one thousand dollar cheque 
at the annual event organised by 
the Musee International d'Art Naif 
in Magog, Quebec.
The picture now forms part of the museum's collection.

Chinese indie fashion label Unlogical Poem has been inspired by some of my writers' houses collages and the result is a Writers' Houses collection of zany garments shown in Shenzhen recently.

Benjamin Franklin House, a museum with a surprising multimedia difference just off Trafalgar Square, will be stocking this portrait of the building and its occupants as I imagined it in the time that Dr Franklin lodged there, as from next month (June 2013).
